Also he hired, and then fired, advisers and what he claimed were to be independent advisers to counsel him on finance turned out to nothing of the sort. Fri 4th Jul 2008: Police estates strategy consultation is "deeply flawed" says Dee Doocey. At a meeting of the Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) today, Dee Doocey, who leads for the Liberal Democrats on policing in London, raised serious concerns about the way the Met's consultation on the future of police stations had been carried out. She described the consultation as deeply flawed and said, "The information from the consultation is meaningless, and cannot be used to determine the future of local police facilities."
